Our staff & volunteers
Joshua Hanson, a life long resident of NWLA, is the founder and current Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of directors for the NWLA Zoo Foundation. His favorite thing to do is travel and visit the zoos around the country!
Other Board members include: Ashlee Bullock, Jimmy Owen, Matthew Stevens, Danny Lowery, Jason Shidiskis, and Sarah Wise
Fund Raising
We are waiting on the IRS to approve our 501(c)3 Currently and as soon as that is done we will start fund raising efforts! If you aren't concerned about getting a tax deduction for your donation you can mail a check payable to NWLA Zoo Foundation 1105 Benton Road, Bossier City, LA 71111
Our mission
To bring a REAL zoo and conservation center to NWLA. Shreveport is the largest city in the US with out a zoo! We want to change that!
